Welcome to the Training Department’s webpage. The following information has been provided to further assist child care providers in obtaining their state mandated training needs.

Please visit www.myflorida.com/childcare/training for most of your training needs. This website can answer many questions child care providers may have. To access the training schedules, follow these instructions:

• Click on the “Register for Courses” icon.
• Click the “Continue” icon.
• Select the box next to the county you wish to inquire about, then click “Continue”.
• Select the desired course(s) for more details and click “Search”.
• Click on “Details”, then “Add to Cart”. Next, you will have the option to register for the individual course or the entire package, where available.
• Click on “Add to Cart” again, then “Login/Register”. Enter your personal information, such as name and social security number or student identification number, to complete the registration process.
• Once you have completed the registration process, print your registration confirmation letter and mail your payment along with the copy of the letter to the appropriate training institution.

If you need to register for the child care competency exam, please call 1-888-375-3926. If you are already registered and have paid for the course, you may register online for the exam. To register online, follow these instructions:

• From the web address above, click on “View My Transcript”.
• Enter your last name and social security number or student ID number to continue.
• Go to your transcript and at the top of the page you will see the “Register for a Child Care Competency Exam” link.
• Click on the link and follow the instructions to complete your registration.
• Print your registration confirmation and review to make sure the information is accurate.
• Mail the bottom payment information with your payment to EEC.
